Veena Malik of Big Boss facing charges of “impropriety” in Pakistan ! Ouch!

so apparently, Veena Malik is being accused of not being ” womanly” in Pakistan Courts by the concerned morally upright and primarily male populations …who felt awful even as they sat week after week and watched Veena through all the episodes of Big Boss.

Oh well Veena, get tips from our actresses, who are frequently charged with outraging the moral codes of Indian Society…however when women’s modesty gets outraged, most of them are wearing saries, and salwar kurtas and walking to work or home or college…. and then we manage to “un-find” evidence because …ummm our morality is also offended by women’s protest.

Woman’s behavior has always been a matter of discussion  debate and control spanning across Asia and Europe and Africa… Africa has genital mutilation to prevent women from being precocious …Asia has dowry to ensure a tolerance by in-laws and Europe has glass ceilings to ensure…space on top remains just that..not easily filled by women.

Across the continents women are trafficked for sex and for servitude… because whether men and their society like it or not…nature versus nurture theory is developing and the outcome is the evolving psyche of women..

It is hopefully moving towards a self defined identity that integrates constructions of religious and social existence with the new social and public spaces to create Sita, and Fatima and Mary in terms that women see fit!

and Veena, is one such woman, intelligent, charming, and articulate….
